"It seems unlikely so much damage would happen so suddenly, don't you think? Those bones have been down there since the war." He pauses and as if someone had spoken up in disagreement, immediately dives into a counterpoint in the same breath. A response to no one's protests. "Yes, they weren't always bones alone, but they have been bones without muscle for most of that time."
