Dragon eggs can lie dormant for centuries, waiting until just the right magical circumstances are happening before they hatch. But in practice, I've no idea how someone could keep multiple dragon eggs hidden for that long."

Because there's...what, at least four dragons in existence now. He could see one egg being kept hidden for that long, but four? It's a little ridiculous.
