Strange takes a few steps towards Daud, gestures to the other man's hand, and murmurs a few words under his breath. The coin starts to pull in Daud's grip, like something's trying to yank it out. Daud's grip is stronger than Strange's magic: even a medium grip on the coin will prevent it from moving. But if Daud loosens his grip on the coin, it will zoom towards Strange's hands, as if being magnetically pulled there.
"My magic's shifted recently. I'm not sure as to the cause, but I won't complain. I can still break enchantments and manipulate the elements, of course, but now I can add manipulating metals to my list of many talents."
Does Daud care about the state of Strange's magic? Probably not! But there is an open room and Strange will take any audience he can get his hands on.
