"That trinket thing?" There's a pause, while Strange mulls it over before realizing just why and where it looks familiar.

"You're right, it does. Someone I know looted something like that off of one of the orcs when they were attacking the city." Granted, Strange only saw that trinket once or twice period, but now that Daud's mentioned the familiarity, it seems obvious to him.

"Of course, that opens up more questions than it does answers." And then, without hesitation, Strange gently tosses the coin in Daud's direction with a simple request of "Catch this."
