"He's tired? He's cursed? Something else is wrong? Could be anything," Billie says grimly. She doesn't like answering the one big question they had and getting about a dozen new ones in return but for that part, there's only so much she can do. She pulls the scrying stone away and pockets it before finally looking away from the wolf, back to the others.
"We need to figure out food and shelter first. Like Daud said, he's been starved. We can't just dump a pile of meat in front of him and expect him to get better, nor is this exactly the most secure location to keep him. Those orcs are going to come looking eventually."
