Daud doesn't ignore her, but he doesn't go out of his way to interact beyond what's necessary. If he minds the way she dogs his heels, he doesn't complain, though he does end up watching her animas more often than not. What he makes of Deirdre's restlessness, though, he keeps to himself. The Long Night may be over, but there's still things to do around the city, cleaning up the remains of bonfires and the lost belongings of people who've more than likely ended up in a monster's stomach.
