"I guess." He hums, a noncommittal sound, and says nothing more for several beats of his heart. His and Makka's hearts, really; that's one more phenomena he's witnessed, considering how he and Makka share a bed most nights. Which wasn't so different than his life with Makkachin, a century before, but infinitely more strange.
