Obviously, characters have no IC way of verifying whether this is correct, but from an OOC perspective, how should we handle attempts at interpreting/speculating on the message?
I can make out the Latin, but wasn't sure if I should be treating it as a code to be flipped and then translated from that, or if it's meant to be its own distinct language in the world (for example, how Al Bhed in FFX is on a meta level just 'scrambling the letters of the English alphabet around' but in-game is treated as another language completely). If the former, Daud has at least some familiarity with Latin (since in canon, his motto is in that) so I was going to have him offer a translation for the other Awakened to chew on -- but I just wanted clarity on how to play that.
