The device reacts to the specific desires of its owner and does not have difficulty translating those desires into action as if the owner themselves were hand picking recipients. It has the benefit of being able to communicate with other couriers to verify the owners are suitable recipients as well. It is a very clever piece of technology that could have the appearance of bordering on sentience for those who begin to understand how it works.

2. It is. The couriers identify each other and as long as neither communicator signs their name the conversation would remain anonymous. Unfortunately for characters, the courier's knowledge only travels in one direction, meaning it can tell who the character is speaking with but the characters can not.

3. Attempting to respond to the message received will only send a message to the messenger. Responding to the unsigned message will elicit a response. The response, regardless of the message sent, is one word:
